The Chairman of the Sindhi Adabi Board has Requested Permission to Translate Sindhi Literature into Foreign Languages

Sindhi Adabi Board Chairman Makhdoom Saeed u Zaman Atif has asked the Sindh government to approve the translation of Sindhi literature into international languages as well as the completion of development projects. Makhdoom Saeed, while discussing development schemes, stated that the board has demanded several times to fulfil the institution's requirements, but no progress has been made in this regard despite correspondence including publishing of books and draughts, vehicles, and reconstruction of Sindhi Adabi Board bookstall.

He went on to say that the foundation stone for the Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Library and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Scholar Hostel had already been laid, and that a letter had been sent to Lok Virsa Heritage and Museum Islamabad to allot a corner and carpet the road Sindhi Adabi Board, but that no progress had been made. The board chairman also asked that the Sindhi Adabi Board establish a solar system so that publications and books could be printed on time and supplied to readers. He stated that the Sindhi Adabi Board aims to open a library and a bookshop in each district of Sindh, and that correspondence has been established with the Sindh government.
